There are many cases of bullying, many victims who have long suffered from attacks in schools, and even warnings through Social Networks (RRSS) or letters of will to commit suicide. Protocols of action have failed because (among other things) they are surely late, and are not able to stop a situation in which experts call for a dialogued solution that excludes the simple concepts of punishment for aggressors or change of school for the victim.
There are many lives that school bullying has taken but… do we really think that nothing can be done for our children and teenagers? Is there nothing and no one to help them? Those are the pillars, foundation and values of our tomorrow society. If we do not stop and teach them to defend themselves, to detect, prevent and stop those who abuse … who will guide our children’s future? The number of associations and NGOs fighting against bullying is increasing but… are their actions effective in preventing and combating such problem?
The difficulty of anti-bullying associations’ intervention in the student’s environment makes them highly ineffective both in early detection and prevention, and of course nonexistent in the possibility of action and eradication of the initial non-inclusive dynamics.
Families, teachers and educational centers have in their hands the capacity to help, and prevent victims and observers from bullying, via training, technology and intervention.
